With HC Davos, the host team and defending Spengler Cup champions are already confirmed for the tournament. The SCL Tigers will make their first-ever appearance in the history of the Spengler Cup. In addition, Frölunda HC, the reigning Champions Hockey League winners, will also compete in Davos. Fans can furthermore look forward to the return of the U.S. Collegiate Selects in 2026. From Germany’s DEL, Adler Mannheim will travel to Davos, while Ilves Tampere will represent Finland at the 98th Spengler Cup.

Games begin on December 26, with faceoffs at 3:10 p.m. and 8:15 p.m local time. Starting December 29, teams will fight for a spot in the semifinals, before the grand final takes place on December 31 at 12:10 p.m. in the Davos Eisstadion.
