Adler Mannheim have been among the most renowned and successful clubs in German ice hockey for decades. The eight-time German champions are a regular contender in the DEL and finished runners-up in the 2025/26 season. Adler Mannheim are known not only for their on-ice success, but also for their outstanding player development: NHL stars such as Leon Draisaitl, Moritz Seider and Tim Stützle all spent part of their development in Mannheim. The club plays its home games at the modern SAP Arena, which regularly attracts crowds of more than 12,000 spectators.
