HC Davos is not only one of the most renowned ice hockey clubs in Switzerland, but also the long-standing host of the Spengler Cup. Founded in 1921, the historic club has won 31 Swiss championship titles and became the tournament’s sole record champion after lifting the 97th Spengler Cup trophy. In the 2025/26 season, the team coached by Josh Holden reached the playoff final of the Swiss National League, where it narrowly lost to Fribourg-Gottéron in overtime of Game 7.
