With the U.S. Collegiate Selects, IFK Helsinki, Sparta Prague, Fribourg-Gottéron, Team Canada, and the HC Davos, the strong lineup for the 97th Spengler Cup Davos 2025 is complete.
The six teams are divided into two groups: the «Torriani» Group will play its games in the afternoon (3:10 p.m.), while the «Cattini» Group will take to the ice in the evening (8:15 p.m.).

OUR HISTORY
Dr. Carl Spengler, a physician from Davos and the son of Dr. Alexander Spengler – who laid the foundation for the health resort of Davos – was an enthusiastic supporter of the HC Davos, founded in 1921. In his desire to support his club while also helping to reunite nations divided by the First World War through sporting exchange, he donated a challenge trophy at Christmas 1923. According to the deed of foundation, his aim was to give the once-hostile nations an opportunity to rebuild mutual understanding and trust through fair and friendly competition, and to extend a hand of camaraderie.
