The result for the first game of the Spengler Cup's fourth day has further reduced the candidates for the tournament finale. After Karlovy Vary's elimination, Ingolstadt too must cede any hope of playing in the Finals.

Again the representative from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) seemed a little overstretched in their third match. Fata and Toms scored
