HC Salavat Yulaev Ufa with an outstanding performance

Spengler Cup Adler Mannheim - HC Salavat Yulaev UFA, Fall Adler Mannheim
The Russians played their second match at the Spengler Cup against German-team Adler Mannheim and won it with a superb performance with the result of 6:1. The match started a bit surprisingly for the Russians, just after 40 seconds Forbes marked the first goal in this match. Goalkeeper Tarasov who substituted Eremenko didn't saw the puck slipping under his feet.
The Germans of Mannheim had some minutes after their lead another chances as they hit the post. But this was it from the German-side, after this scene the Russian started to play ice-hockey. Minutes before the first period was over several Adler-players had to take a sit on the bench because of penalties. In this minute Salavat scored twice and made out of a 1:0 a 1:2 lead and finished the first 20 minutes with this lead.
In the second period Salavat Yulaev was performing even better as in the first and they didn't leave the Germans barely a chance. The 3rd and 4th goal for Ufa was just a question of time. Sidyakin scored the 3rd and his team-mate Kuteykin made it 1:4. The Russians had even more chances to score but they weren't concentrated enough. On the other hand the Germans were too weak in this second third to put Tarasov under pressure, therefore this third ended with 1:4 lead of Salavat Yulaev. At this moment the match was already decided and actually Adler Mannheim wasn't capable to score 3 goals against these Russians.
In the last period Salavat was continuing on the same pace. Shkotov and Proshkin made it 1:6 and the team of Salavat started with their show on the ice. With surprising facility they played their best ice- hockey and entertained the entire audience. This Russian team has some outstanding players which played on the highest level of ice-
hockey. A lot of them are former NHL-players and they showed this tonight on an impressive way. With this victory HC Salavat Yulaev Ufa is the top-favourite to win this year's Spengler Cup.
