Ville Peltonen will Join Dynamo Minsk

The Byelorussian league leaders, Dynamo Minsk who will play in the Spengler Cup for the firs time this year, are currently increasing the strength of their team. Joining the KHL team are the renowned Finish NHL players Ossi Väänänen and Ville Peltonen, both of them well known in Switzerland hockey circles.

The national league Top Scorer of the season 2003/2004 played a total of 79 games last year for the Florida Panthers. His compatriot Väänänen moved to the NHL nine years ago as a 20 year old and played for the Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks. The defender has consequently played nearly 500 games total in the NHL.
