Without Team Canada there would be missing something

As organising committee's president Fredi Pargätzi announced during the general meeting of HC Davos the umbrella organization of Hockey Canada has reached an agreement with HC Davos Management AG that will assure the participation of Team Canada at forthcoming Spengler Cup Tournaments from 2008 to 2012.

Team Canada has won the traditional Tournament in Davos for the first time in 1984 and gained after that 10 tournament victories until today. The agreement settles also the use of TV rights within the USA and Canada where the Spengler Cup has reached a high level of awareness thanks to the broadcasts of several games in the last years.
