Bibi Torriani joins the first team of HC Davos. Still the HCD is defeated in the final by LTC Praha. |

Free-for-all and break-off of the final Prague vs. HCD! It is played again on February 15, 1939. Davos win 1:0. |

The five-year-old club ACBB Paris wins the tournament. |

Füssen win the Spengler Cup and find this fact out just after arriving at home. Sparta Prague surprisingly had lost their last match against MoDo Alfredshem from Sweden. |

Dukla Jihlava, CSSR, become tournament champions and Davos finish last with zero points. |

Same story as in 1965! The snowfall is a big disruptive element to the open artificial ice rink. |

| The Russians come! |

 |
Premiere in Davos: Lokomotive Moscow defeat the Canadian team of Kingston Aces. Instead of HCD a Swiss representative team plays the tournament. |

 |
Dukla Jihlava win for the third time. Davos is still missing – The Swiss A-Team win no points. |

| 1969 |
 |
Davos are back to business - but Lokomotive Moscow win the final against Dukla Jihlava 2:1 in front of 5200 spectators. |

| Japanese and Polish teams in Davos |

The Japanese Olympia team plays in Europe and it is placed third at Spengler Cup. |

Slovan Bratislava is the first winner of the tournament after a penalty shoot-out. |

Slovan Bratislava win again in a penalty shoot-out, this time against Poland. |

After questionable experiences as a tournament for national teams the Spengler Cup becomes again a tournament with invitation for clubs. |

First tournament under the new roof of the stadium. The number of spectators rises 11 percent to 41'000. |

All seat tickets sold out in advance. 54'000 spectators visit the 57th Spengler Cup. |

| «Team Canada» heralds a new era |

The first participation of «Team Canada» ends with its win! |

Comeback of Davos as runner-up of the tournament thanks to the Russians Slawa Bykow and Andrei Chomutow of Fribourg Gottéron. The cup goes to Färjestad (Sweden). |

The Kölner Haie leave Magnitogorsk from Russia and Team Canada behind. |

New north terraces, 11 practically sold-out games and with Metallurg Magnitogorsk a Russian champion giving Team Canada no chance in the final. |

14th Spengler Cup triumph for HC Davos after a 3:2 win against Team Canada. Third placed in the very exciting tournament is the Swedish elite division team IK Mora. |

In the epical duel Canada-Russia, the Team Canada beats Salavat Yulaev Ufa in a high dramatic game, with a 2:1 victory very closely. For the Canadians it is the 11th triumph at the Spengler Cup, after two unsuccessful final participations. |

| 2008 |
 |
The Team Canada is able to make the final the 4th time in a row, but falls to Dynamo Moscow 3:5. For the Russians it is the first win of the tournament, since the last success 25 years ago. |

| 2009 |
 |
The home team was not able to capitalize from lots of changes. At the end Minsk gets an empty net goal which leads to the final score of 3:1. On the eve the HCD has beaten the strong Germans Adler Mannheim in the deciding game for the final participation. |
